Our fluidized bed incinerators guarantee outstanding performance, economy and reliability.
The fluidized bed incinerator is a refractory brick lined steel cylinder with an air distribution system equipped with nozzels. Air is blown through the nozzles upwards into a sand layer above the air distribution system. The air fluidizes the sand layer equally and so the sand layer expands to the fluidizing bed being 1.5 m high. The incinerator and the sand layer are heated up by means of burners over the ignition temperature of the combustible. Now the combustible containing water, organic and inorganic substances is fed into the fluidized bed and ignites. The water evaporates and becomes superheated, the organic substances are combusted and the inorganic substances are glown.
