Our steam boilers guarantee outstanding performance, economy and reliabilty.

The waste heat steam boiler is placed downstream the fluidized bed incinerator. The fly ash loaden, hot flue gas (850 – 900 °C) resulting from the incineration process comes into the boiler. The boiler utilizates the heat of the flue gas for steam production: the flue gas is cooled down by the boiler heating surfaces and steam is generated by this process. Additionally a part of the fly ash is precipitated.

The RASCHKA - steam boiler has a very special design. The boiler has been developed for being placed downstream a fluidized bed incinerator thus meeting the specific requirements resulting from the dustloaden flue gas coming from the fluidized bed incinerator.

The characteristics of the RASCHKA - steam boiler are

  • production of saturated steam and superheated steam
  • steam pressure up to 80 bar, steam temperature up to 400 °C
  • subdivision of the boiler into preboiler and mainboiler
  • preboiler eqipped with radiation heating surfaces, thus not susceptible to ash caking; intense cooling down of the flue gas in order to avoid ash caking in the main boiler
  • main boiler equipped with convective heating surfaces, designed as hanging pipe bundles, especially developed for extremely ash- and dust loaden flue gas
  • self cleaning of the convective heating surfaces by flue gas stream induced oscillation of the pipe bundles, additionally mechanical rapping device
